Mystery in the Garden

What is this?

Spotted in the garden this morning, don't be distracted by the patio needs weeding, we measured it

At some angles it looks like a monster

Youngest wanted to make a house for it to live in

Coniston Lake

We met up with family at Coniston lake for a picnic for a really enjoyable day, they have a Canadian canoe and we went over to 'Tooth Fairy' Island, named by their youngest. It was so peaceful on there, apart from   hunting for the tooth fairy, truly beautiful to be surrounded by ripples of water, greenery and the other people canoeing were really friendly. I discovered rowing is nothing like the rowing machine at the gym, it's much harder! We came home and googled buying a canoe, slight issue with where we'd keep it & transport it. We felt we had been away for longer than a day, I may have also been on Right move daydream looking for a home nearer.

We took a trip to Yorkshire near Pickering to visit friends, I felt really at home with this
